PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP: Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro (Beginner Level)

May 05, 2021
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Virtual Meeting

Video is an important component of a firm’s content marketing strategy. Video content is highly engaging and much more likely to generate interest than just links and text. Any business that is serious about marketing will take advantage of video’s many benefits, particularly when it comes to communicating their brand identities and stories.

In this beginner-level workshop, Beth will demonstrate the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro and the creation of documentary-style video – the type of video that includes interviews, narration, or an on-screen host, along with b-roll video or images and other audio. Topics will include editing workflow, media management, starting a project in Premiere Pro, editing interviews and b-roll, working with sound, and exporting your project. If you would like to work in Adobe Premiere Pro along with the demonstrations, have your own media available for practice (a short interview, some visual video clips related to the interview, and an instrumental music file) and ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro installed on your computer. Please be aware that this will be a fast-paced workshop and there will not be dedicated practice time. Handouts, including a program outline, will be provided before the workshop.
