Social media can seem like a beast you need to feed regularly, but this interactive session will explore why you need to listen to social media as well as feed it. Exploring social as an online research, networking and PR tool can open up new ways of using social media and help you gain buy-in from firm leaders to engage in and get more excited about using social.

We will discuss four things that social media can tell you:
1. Who is like you and who isn’t
2. Key industry issues or pains
3. Emerging business trends
4. How your followers are engaging with you
Bonus: Best practices to get better engagement

Consider this session an inside look at the beast and why we need it for future business growth. We’ll review analytics reports, status updates, news posts and hashtags to clarify what you should most pay attention to in the A/E/C space and what you can ignore.
